4 big apples
50g cocoa powder
¼ cup (50g) sugar
50g almonds, chopped
4 amaretti (almond biscuits), crushed
1 glass liqueur, to taste
1 glass dry white wine
1 tablespoon caster sugar
Wash and core apples.
Place cocoa powder, sugar, almonds, egg, biscuits and liqueur in a bowl.
Mix with a wooden spoon.
Fill apples with mixture and arrange them onto an ovenproof dish.
Drizzle with wine and sprinkle with caster sugar.
Distribute swirls of butter all over the base of the dish.
Bake in a moderate oven for about 35 minutes. Serve warm.
