This recipe is so easy that an 8-year-old can prepare it without any difficulty.
It’s even easier than preparing a cake with a pack of cake mixture.

1cup (250ml) cream, double
1 cup (200g) sugar
1 ½ cups (180g) self raising flour, sifted
Whisk together all the ingredients.
Pour batter into a 22cm round tin.
Sprinkle with sugar and bake in a moderate oven for about 25 minutes or until slightly golden.
