Fruity butter cake

Serves 8

1 cup hot milk
2 tablespoons chocolate powder
1 cup (200 g) sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
100g butter at room temperature
2 cups (240 g ) flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
2 eggs
1 cup chopped bananas, pears, apples.

Dissolve chocolate powder in hot milk. Cool.
Beat butter and sugar, using a wooden spoon, until creamy.
Add slightly beaten eggs and vanilla essence gradually and keep beating.

Sift and fold in flour and baking powder, alternating with chocolate milk. (Start and finish by the flour).
Add the fruits and mix well.

Pour the mixture into a well greased and floured loaf tin and bake in moderate oven for about 50 minutes or until tested with a skewer.
Cool for some minutes before turning out.
